The reality of today

28kms of running, from InTraining towards Fig Tree Pocket and back.  Lots of hills.  Legs hurting ++ Am wandering around the house aimlessly, like a teenager with a hangover!  Prematurely cracked in to my Easter treat …  I need chocolate!!!

  1. Jen, I hope you have recovered. There is nothing worse then getting that painful feeling all over after a run, I too have been there. For my last two long runs have made myself have breakfast before I head out - two pieces of toast with jam or honey. This has made a huge difference - I have had more energy and felt happier during and after the run. I tackle the 'big kms' this weekend with around 25kms to be covered, I will let you know if the toast helps.
